September Feature • Maya Thompson

This month, Meducate reached out to Maya Thompson, founder of the Ronan Foundation (a nonprofit dedicated to funding childhood cancer research) and co-writer of “Ronan (Taylor’s Version)”. She was able to share with us her son’s experience with neuroblastoma. Maya told us how she manages her both grief and her hope, talking about how the diagnosis affected her family and later sharing how she wants the childhood cancer community to look like moving forward. This was a difficult conversation to have, and we thank Maya for telling us her story.
